We recommend taking this class after you have taken the Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner or other equivalent training.
Course Overview
This 1-day or 2-day workshop is designed to prepare organizational leaders and change agents for adopting and scaling Agile methods including Scrum, eXtreme Programming (XP) and Kanban in pragmatic fashion. It provides everything you need to be an effective leader for a large-scale agile adoption.
Though the hours participating in this workshop can be applied toward the required 21 contact hours needed to meet the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) eligibility requirements, it is not indented as a certification preparation course.
This high-impact, hands-on, agile management workshop provides managers and executives with an advanced treatment on the role of management in the agile organization. Upon completing this workshop, managers should be well positioned to champion agile within their functions and more broadly across the organization. The workshop will incorporate lecture, group discussions, and hands-on exercises to help leaders both understand their roles, and to more effectively lead their teams and organizations.
This course is taught by active Agile practitioners with decades of real-world industry experience at companies ranging from small business to the Fortune 250. In particular, our large-scale adoption includes adoptions of 5000+ people with large projects/programs of 300+ people. Exercises, case studies, and examples are interwoven throughout the course to illustrate the principles being taught.
