Agile Community Coordinator

LitheSpeed Agile Community Coordinator 

LitheSpeed is seeking an enthusiastic community coordinator based in the DC Metro area who is passionate about Agile, modern management, alumni networks, communication, and client engagement. This junior role works in close partnership with marketing, sales, and our front office trainers and coaches to build excitement and relationships within our network of clients, training alumni, and extended training team. The ideal candidate is interested in the Agile industry, eager to learn, and highly organized. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Assist the team with operational tasks in the realm of sales, customer support, and marketing as needed 
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to assist with engagement scope definition and model
  • Manage communication plans and channels with current clients, striving for continuous improvement and communicating consistently with clients during all project phases  
  • Grow client relationships and identify follow on support opportunities
  • Attend client and team meetings to identify opportunities for continuous improvement 
  • Work with onsite LitheSpeed coaching team to prepare and present status reports for client and wider LitheSpeed team 
  • Assist with development of client case studies and engagement metrics 
  • Coordinate with sales team for any necessary reporting, tracking and new opportunities  
  • Act as public-facing representative of LitheSpeed at our client sites, training venues, conferences and Meetups  
  • Design and manage community development projects for LitheSpeed’s Alumni network. 

Requirements 
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, business or related field  
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in one of the above fields 
  • Highly collaborative 
  • Familiar and/or strong interest in Agile, project management and process improvement 
  • Able to travel (<25% time) and attend events as needed

Agile Engagement Manager

**This position is based in the Washington, DC Metro area**

LitheSpeed is seeking an Engagement Manager with deep agile experience to plan, lead, and track coaching and consulting engagements for our largest Enterprise clients and to deliver Agile training and coaching. This includes onsite oversight of project deliverables, serving as the communication liaison between LitheSpeed and various client stakeholders such as engagement leaders and corporate training directors, and collaborating with the LitheSpeed coaching team to ensure an excellent experience for our clients.  We anticipate this role to be half time engagement management and half time Agile training and consulting delivery, but the mix will vary with client demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Team to assist with engagement scope definition and model
  • Assist with transition from sales to delivery, ensuring the delivery team has all of the information necessary for a successful engagement

  • Advanced understanding of Agile concepts including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and Agile Scaling.
  • Interest in participating in the planning and managing of agile transformations
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
  • CSM, CSPO, CSP or other relevant certifications preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years Agile coaching experience
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • Ability to do structured and ad hoc agile training and mentoring
  • Agile Technical or Engineering skills are not required but always welcome.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and business consulting experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant IT experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well with multiple cross-functional teams to produce an end-to-end offering
  • Ability to identify when/where flow of work is impeded

Basic Agile Consultant Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years Agile coaching experience is preferred
  • Ability to do structured and ad hoc agile training and mentoring
  • Agile Technical or Engineering skills are not required but always welcome.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and business consulting experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant IT experience
  • SAFe SPC and interest to grow capabilities and certifications in Scaled Agile Framework strongly preferred

Agile DevOps Process and Technical Coach & Trainer

Basic Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Agile concepts including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and Agile Scaling.
  • Passion for and hands-on experience with DevOps, TDD, BDD, refactoring, automation, and Continuous integration
  • Technical Agile Coaching experience with engineering teams
  • Experience setting up a CI/CD pipeline
  • Ability to do structured and ad hoc agile training and mentoring
  • Interest in participating in the planning of agile transformations and facilitating agile assessments
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field
  • 5+ years Agile Engineering/DevOps experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant IT experience
  • CSM, CSPO, CSP or other relevant certifications preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Certified Scrum Trainer

We are not actively hiring for this position but are always open to meeting up and coming CSTs.

Location: Northern Virginia

LitheSpeed is seeking an Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) or CST candidate who is customer and business value oriented, and is excited to help teams adopt Scrum, Kanban and other agile methods while also sharing their own hard-won lessons learned with those teams so that they can reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with the ability to also work independently who aspires to work in an organization that embraces innovative and creative thinking in a culture of continuous improvement. She/he will have an ongoing personal commitment to learning from clients, co-workers, publications, and other sources.

The trainer must have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to present to groups of professionals with a “Leadership” level understanding of at least two of the following areas: Agile Development, Portfolio and Project Management, Lean, Quality Assurance.

Agile Trainer Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and/or management, including deep subject matter expertise in Scrum with “in-the-trenches” implementation experience
  • Training experience and/or public speaking experience
  • Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) certification
  • Willingness to spend approximately 50% of your time traveling to client locations in North America, with occasional international trips

Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred
  • A record of conference presentations
  • A record of published work in industry relevant journals, blogs, and/or popular trade publications
