This is not an introductory course, and requires that you have taken prior agile training in the form of a Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Product Owner or equivalent agile training

Build on your Certified ScrumMaster or Certified Product Owner certification and extend your agile project management knowledge to the material needed for the PMI-ACP exam with our one-day preparatory course. We will cover all of the major Agile practices, specifically eXtreme Programming, Scrum and Kanban, and introduce Lean Thinking as well.  This course goes well beyond the basics to equip students with the practical advice, real world examples and simulation exercises necessary to transition traditional project managers into agile project managers. You’ll not only leave with a refreshed knowledge of the agile movement and knowledge towards the PMI-ACP certifications, but also with a new confidence in your skills as a project leader and a new network of fellow agile practitioners.

Acceptance Test Driven Development with Cucumber (2 Days)

This two-day workshop will take participants through the entire life cycle of automating your acceptance tests using Cucumber and Ruby.  ATDD methods will help take your Scrum or agile team to the next level by ensuring high quality and strong communication with the customer.  ATDD also enables the short iteration cycles and frequent releases that Scrum teams adhere to.  The workshop is designed for people who are new to test automation, and development experience is not required.  This course serves as an excellent introduction to both concepts, and is suitable for testers and developers alike.  Each attendee will work in pairs on actual tests and code throughout the two days, so that learning is maximized through hands on practice.
