One of LitheSpeed’s two founders, I have been actively involved in the application and evolution of Agile software development processes such as Scrum, Kanban and Extreme Programming for over a decade and a half. I am also a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and was an early adopter in the application of broader lean principles to agile methods to deepen theoretical understanding and drive organizational change. I was one of the earliest Certified ScrumMaster Trainers, and specialize in the role of the Product Owner, given an early career in product design and management. There I leveraged principles of information architecture, interaction design and usability to develop innovative products that met customers’ expressed and unspoken needs.
I’ve led Agile and Lean deployment and managed process improvement projects at hundreds of clients in highly diverse industries, such as Marriott, Capital One, Neustar, CCP Games, T. Rowe Price, Freddie Mac, and the Armed Forces Benefits Association. My agile career began when I started exploring and speaking about the integration of interaction design and usability practices into Agile methodologies, and since I’m a regular speaker, trainer and organizer of at conferences around the world. I love the depth, broad applicability and never-ending evolution of these methods, and it has kept me passionate about it all of these years.
I am a Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Scrum Trainer and Lean Six Sigma MBB.
