Biography:

Julie is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) from the Scrum Alliance and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI) Julie Chickering was an Agilist with CA Technologies (formally Rally Software in Boulder, CO) for 9 years. She has proven ability to transfer job knowledge and skills to all levels, and has a solid track record coaching through the challenging transition from waterfall to Agile practices. Julie brings more than 20 years of experience in the software development industry, she was an internal coach at Travelocity before joining Rally as an Agile Coach.

Julie believes that Agile practices are packed with potential — to enable business agility, and breakthrough results. A passion to empower people to realize that potential is what drew her to coaching in 2007. She’s amassed a strong track record of helping organizations of all sizes in various industries successfully execute Agile transformations. Julie brings real-world experience working with people at all levels — executive, program, and team — to adopt and roll out realistic Agile strategies organization-wide. Customer appreciate her pragmatic approach, strong collaboration and facilitation skills, and a smart sense of humor to guide them along their Agile journeys.

Julie is a past president and board member of the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN), Julie is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SAFe SPC), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in addition to the PMI-PMP certification.
