Does one size really fit all?  Experience tells us that this is rarely the case, which is why Scrum@Scale is built with flexibility and customizability in mind.  From Fortune 100 companies to start-ups, Scrum@Scale® transforms organizations into Agile enterprises.  The Scrum@Scale framework is the brainchild of Dr. Jeff Sutherland, the co-creator of Scrum.  Scrum@Scale naturally extends the core Scrum framework to deliver hyper-productive results across industries and disciplines, including software, hardware, services, operations, and R&D. In our 2-day course, you will learn how to apply fundamental Scrum and Lean product development skills to scale Scrum from one to many teams across any sized initiative.

LitheSpeed’s Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner class is packed with real life case studies of Scrum@Scale usage in multiple industries such as financial services, banking, healthcare, oil and gas, software and even companies building complex systems such as a fighter plane.  It is taught by our top practicing consultants, ready to answer your hard questions rather than deflect them.  We value practicality over theory, and this pragmatic approach means that you will leave equipped with a clear idea of how Scrum@Scale can work in your unique circumstances.

Recommended Experience

  •  A two-day Certified Scrum Master Course or comparable real world experience implementing Scrum. Completion of a two-day Certified Scrum Product Owner course is encouraged but not required. We recommend reading the official Scrum@Scale Guide prior to the class.

Who Uses Scrum?

Scrum is designed to deliver any type of project, product or service.  It is specifically about aligning a teams effort towards creating and maximizing value delivery from a team.  The vast majority of teams that use Scrum are in the IT delivery space, as that is the space where Scrum started.  Scrum and Agile methods are highly applicable in all departments, IT and business-side alike.

We have personally consulted with many teams outside the IT field including:

  • Legal teams delivering briefs
  • Education materials creation
  • Non-IT Service delivery
  • The creation of a county wide School Within a School Program
  • Video creation

Scrum can be helpful for anyone working with teams to deliver value.
The certification itself is most recognized in the technical field but many people outside IT are using scrum to become more effective at managing and aligning teams to whatever mission they are embarked upon.
