How long is the Leading SAFe course?
Leading SAFe is a two day (16-hour) course.
Scaled Agile requires active participation to achieve certification. This includes full attention and participation in chat, exercises, and group discussion. To ensure an interactive live online training, all participants are required to keep their video on.
What materials will I receive?
Prior to training, you’ll receive an email from Scaled Agile with instructions to access the Scaled Agile Community Platform. This is your hub for SAFe resources and class materials, including the digital workbook as well as exam and certification information.
Is there an exam?
There is a timed exam, which is included in the course registration cost. You’ll have 90 minutes to complete the exam online in the SAFe Community Platform. The exam can be taken on-demand wherever you have internet access. The exam is closed-book with no outside assistance. Read more about the Leading SAFe exam here.
What score do you need to pass the exam?
The exam has 45 questions and is multiple choice. A passing score is 35 out of 45 (77%).
How long do I have to take the exam?
Once you conclude your 2-day training, you will have 30 days to complete the exam. You are able to make a one-time courtesy extension after your exam has expired. Follow the steps on Scaled Agile’s support website here to request an extension.
After the first attempt at the exam, all subsequent attempts cost a fee. There is no waiting period to take the exam a second time.
