In the days of LinkedIn, GitHub and other publicly available platforms showcasing our work and history, resumes may seem a dated artifact. But our resumes are the de facto initial step to acquiring a new role, and whether we have a well-written and focused resume often is the deciding factor on whether we even get the opportunity to move forward to subsequent steps in the hiring process.
