About Our Speaker:
Jim Highsmith’s career spans six decades of rapid technology
and business change. He has been at the forefront of software
technology’s response to that change, from working on 1970s
COBOL business applications to recent engagements for digital
transformations.
He coauthored the Agile Manifesto, cofounded the Agile Alliance, was first president of the Agile Leadership Network, and coauthored the Declaration of Interdependence for project leaders. His books include EDGE: Value-Driven Digital Transformation; Adaptive Leadership; Agile Project Management; Agile Software Development Ecosystems; and Adaptive Software Development, winner of the prestigious Jolt Award.
Jim is the recipient of the 2005 international Stevens Award for outstanding contributions to software engineering.
